Your Website. Made Simple.

Does the thought of managing your website make you squirm?

Should I use a template for my website?

I guess my answer to this question is… Maybe. But, either way hire a designer to get professional results. Some companies will pull a template off the web from other “small Business” services like Yahoo Small Business or Network Solutions, stick their photos and logo in it and that’s their site…

That’s not professional website design. It’s nothing more than a cheap online Power Point Presentation. Have you seen the example sites that are displayed on these services websites? They are horrible. I hope that, as a small business owner, you think more of your business than to let this be your online presence!

Okay now for some advice… A good designer may use a template but they have the knowledge and ability to customize it and display your content in a professional manner. There’s generally nothing wrong with using a template (it saves time for the designer and it saves you money) as long as it’s customized properly. It is a great solution for that company that is just starting out with a limited marketing budget. The IML Small Business approach is to sit down with every client. Give them a free site analysis and demonstration of our solutions and content editor. If it all works out and you are happy with our solution we will help you decide, based on your budget and needs, what plan you should use. We have a simple approach that uses a template; in fact it’s the way that we built our small business site (www.imlsmallbusiness.com) so you can get an idea of how professional your site will look. We also have a custom approach that gives your website a custom design for just a little more budget. We can blend either one with an on-line store. Call us today for a free 30 minute demonstration.
